    OVERVIEW :

    The Medical Audit Meeting to review the mortality case sheets is regularly conducted every month under the chairmanship of the Dean, Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital. Each department presents their report on the mortality case sheets. The mortality case sheets are reviewed in detail to analyse clinical management, the factors contributing to the death with the ultimate goal of improvement in patient care.

    • The 394th Medical Audit Meeting to review the mortality case sheets for the month of DECEMBER 2023 was held on 09.02.2024(FRIDAY) under the chairmanship of the Dean, Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.

    • The 395th Medical Audit Meeting to review the mortality case sheets for the month of 2023 was held on 08.04.2024(FRIDAY) under the chairmanship of the Dean, Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.

    PURCHASE COMMITTEE MEETING

    OVERVIEW :

    The purchase committee meeting is conducted regularly every week on Tuesday under the chairmanship of the Dean, Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.

    COMMITTEE MEMBERS:

    The committee members constitute the Dean, Medical Superintendent, Nodal Officer, Medical Store Officer, Surgical Store Officer, Junior Administrative Officer, Administrative Officer.

    PURPOUSE :

    The meeting is conducted to review the current inventory and procurement requirements given by various departments. A detailed report on existing stock levels and urgent need for procurement is highlighted. Discussion done on proposed purchases based on quality, pricing and reliability of potential suppliers. Budget allocation is done within the allocated funds. The committee approves the procurement of medical supplies, surgical equipments, surgical consumables, furnitures, stationery.

    Volunteers are present in Emergency Care Services, Out Patient Department of all specialities, In Patient Wards.

    4. Help patients with non-medical needs such as getting water, blankets from wall of kindness
